What Does VAC Do?
VAC supports, guides and assists agencies in recruiting, utilizing and
managing volunteers in effective ways. Some of the activities that the
VAC participates in are Day of Caring, Volunteer Recognition Breakfast,
Golf Outings, and many more community activities.
What VAC Is About?
The Volunteer Activities Committee (VAC) is a community volunteer
resource for Howard County, Indiana. It is a committee of the United
Way of Howard County.
The VAC promotes and facilitates volunteer activities throughout the community. It functions as a commitee, cooperating with agencies, non-profits, businesses and educational facilities to mobilized the effective use of volunteers in resolving community problems.
