The world famous Harlem Globetrotters will grace the floor of Memorial Gymnasium on Thursday, Jan. 10. Proceeds from the event benefit the United Way of Howard County.

Applebee's will donate 15% of all proceeds from everyone with a United Way of Howard County coupon on Tuesday, March 11.

On Tuesday, April 8, Applebee's will donate 15% of its proceeds from everyone with a coupon to the United Way of Howard County.
April 25, 2008: Volunteer Recognition Breakfast
The Annual Volunteer Recognition Breakfast is open to the public and will be held at Crossroads Community Church at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 25.
May 13, 2008: United Way Applebee's Day
On Tuesday, May 13, Applebee's will donate a portion of its proceeds from everyone with a coupon to the United Way of Howard County.
May 14, 2008: 21st Annual Golf Classic
The United Way 21st Annual Golf Classic will take place Wednesday, May 14 at Wildcat Creek Golf Course.
June 25, 2008: Clash of the Caregivers
The Class of the Caregivers will put St.Joseph Hosputal vs. Howard Regional Health System in a battle to see who can raise the laregest amount of tips from patrons at Applebee's on Wednesday, June 25.
July 26, 2008: United Way at Farmer's Market
The United Way of Howard County will set up shop at the downtown Farmer's Market to promote the Taste of Kokomo.
August 16, 2008: Taste of Kokomo
The Taste of Kokomo -- voted best downtown event six years in a row -- will be held Saturday, Aug. 16 from 5 p.m. to midnight around the Courthouse Square in downtown Kokomo.
September 06, 2008: Day of Caring
The annual American Red Cross and United Way of Howard County Day of Caring and Blood Drive will take place Saturday, Sept. 6 at Kokomo High School.
October 10, 2008 - October 11, 2008: Twisted Darkness Haunted House
Twisted Darkness Haunted House will donate 10% of its proceeds from people who visit the attraction during the month of Octber to the United Way of Howard County.
October 16, 2008: LePeep Day!
LePeep will donate 10% of its proceeds to the United Way of Howard County for everyone who eats there on Thursday, Oct. 16!
October 17, 2008: Book Nook Bistro Day!
The Book Nook Bistro will donate 20% of its proceeds to the United Way of Howard County for everyone on Friday, Oct. 17 only!

Come to Applebee's and see IUK and Ivy Tech battle one another to see who can raise the most tips for the United Way between 5 and 9 p.m.
