Step Up, Step Out, Step Forward!United Way wrapped up their 2011 STEP UP, STEP OUT, STEP FORWARD Campaign at IBN SAUD Grotto. Following an exciting campaign populated with 116 first time givers and 16 companies giving at 100% employee participation, United Way of Howard County announced that the goal of $1.7 million dollars was reached and exceeded. "This was an ambitious goal and I'm proud of our community for making it happen. Historically, our campaigns have tapered off a bit following an incentive grant year, but everyone from the United Way employees, volunteers, loaned associates and Board 'stepped up' to the challenge and made it happen," Brent Dechert, United Way Board Chairman. Many volunteers work together to make United Way's campaign successful every year! The campaign leadership team, loaned associates and campaign coordinator's or internal solicitors, those who manage campaigns within their own businesses. Thank you to all of you!
