Step Up, Step Out, Step Forward Campaign Exceeds Goal!

Step Up, Step Out, Step Forward United Way 2011 Campaign reached and exceeded the goal!

Thank you Howard County for stepping up to the challenge! Our loaned associates found 116 new givers in our community and exceeded the goal. The media, internal solicitors and business people never stopped writing, talking and spreading the word about United Way. Small, medium and large companies created new ways of fundraising, shared new ways of fundraising and were able to increase many gifts this year. Agency Directors assisted loaned associates on assignments. Board Members stepped out of their comfort zone and took on responsibilities outside their comfort level. The hopeful and the generous people of our community continued to give. Now we can step forward and assist these great agencies in building a better future. Great job Howard County!
