UNITE NOW FAST FACTS
How we got here?
- Chrysler
had initially been coming in at 60% of their Fall pledges. Now we are
allotting for two months down time, which will come in at a $175,000 loss for United Way.
- Other
uncollectibles will total approximately $75,000.
- Best-case
scenario (with Chrysler back to work after 60 days) is $250,000 loss.
What are we doing?
- Cut
United Way internal budget more than 10% (Salaries, benefits, Emergency
Capital Fund, etc.)
- Special
campaign to raise $200,000 – UNITE NOW: Keep the unity in community
– to run from June 1 to July 1
