What is 4Community?
4Communities plan is to build stronger families in Howard County neighborhood by neighborhood. Two neighborhoods have been identified as pilots - Broadway/Wabash and Pine Valley. Neighborhood champions will help establish neighborhood councils. Neighborhood councils will:

1. To identify needs/assets for the neighborhood.
2. Utilize leaders within the neighborhoods who have stepped forward.
3. Plan and coordinate ways to improve the neighborhood.
4. Mobilize the strengths that lie within the neighborhoods and put plans into action.

The "Big Table" council comprised of business owners, non profits, service providers and faith based organizations will support the neighborhood councils and will assist to link actions and plans to resources.
